PublicDropout is focused on fostering further blockchain development and adoption globally. We aim to do this, in part, through continuing education and professional development assistance. Studying or working in the blockchain industry is possibly one of the riskiest yet most rewarding paths one can aim for. The path isn’t easy, nor is it cheap. With the rising costs of education, the price of attending a high-quality university or obtaining a highly sought after certification steadily increases each year. For students with no clear source of income or for young professionals fresh out of school, we understand that paying for education or professional development is extremely challenging and can cause each to seem like a burden instead of a privilege one should enjoy.

As such, PublicDropout offers sponsorship funding to high school, undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate individuals who have an interest in blockchain technology. The sponsorship seeks to identify promising candidates across three blockchain-related disciplines: development, cryptography, and entrepreneurship. Funding is provided for Professional Certifications or Education Courses related to these disciplines.
